Power Steering Fluid

Power steering oil, also called power steering fluid, is a special hydraulic fluid used in a vehicle’s power steering system. It transmits the hydraulic pressure needed to assist the driver in turning the steering wheel with less effort.

The fluid lubricates the power steering pump and other components, reduces friction, prevents rust and corrosion, and helps the system operate smoothly and quietly. Low or dirty power steering oil can make steering heavy, noisy, or unresponsive, so regular checking and replacement are important for safe and comfortable driving.
